In the interior of Chinchinim a well known village Deusua covered with scenic fields and photogenic views is a Miraculous Chapel of St. Anthony. St. Anthony Chapel is a Roman Catholic chapel located in the village of Deusua, in the Indian state of Goa. The chapel is dedicated to St. Anthony of Padua, who is considered the patron saint of lost and stolen articles, as well as the patron saint of Portugal.
The chapel was built in the 17th century and features a beautiful Baroque-style façade with intricate carvings and sculptures. A holistic place where prayers and wishes of believes and faith comes true. Best place to pray if you lost something or wish for something whole heartedly, pray and you shall receive. Lots of people visit this place with offerings after they received what they asked for. An open place to pray to St Anthony surrounded by nature on One side, the lake view, the sky above and the silence, whilst praying makes it an enriching experience. People across from Goa comes for prayers, mass and photoshoots.Deusua is a small village located about 25 kilometers from the state capital of Panaji. The chapel is easily accessible by road and is a popular tourist attraction in the region.
A special provision made by the Fr. for candles and flowers offering place inside the chapel is great place to offer for tourists and visiter. We should put money wholeheartedly for the candles we light.

One of the most prominent landmarks in the town is the statue of St. Anthony that stands opposite the chapel, with sitting arrangements for people to pray, with a awesome lake view is a go to place for every Christian and non- Christian people who desire to explore religious places. For the local community, the statue of St. Anthony is more than just a monument; it's a symbol of their faith and devotion. St. Anthony is considered the patron saint of lost and stolen articles and is widely revered by Goans. The statue is beautifully crafted and depicts St. Anthony holding baby Jesus in his arms. It's a striking sight, particularly during the annual feast of St. Anthony, which is celebrated with great pomp and show in Chinchinim. The village children comes to play badminton, football and so on.
Also the monument of St. Joseph Vaz donated by C. R. C. Chinchinim is prayer spot.
The whole place is maintained properly, also very hygiene (kept very clean) which I liked the most.  Tuesday mass are a go to for me as it make is really very relaxed and peaceful. The prayer room's infrastructure is so perfect. Everytime I enter I feel like staying there for hours and hours long talking to God.
The Christmas Crib and that epic decoration was something beyond explanation and dreamy back than in 2022. The number of people visits the place everyday is uncountable.
I just love this place and being here drives me to heaven for a direct conversation. So, if you're in Chinchinim, don't forget to visit Deussua and take in its beauty and historical significance. Whether you're a believer or not, but this place is sure to leave a lasting impression on you.
